{Ann + Bob | Minnehaha Parkway Anniversary Portraits}

One sunny Saturday morning I met Ann and Bob at St. James on the Parkway.  The little church is a few blocks away from Lake Nokomis and Hiawatha.  Thirty years ago in that little church Ann and Bob started their journey together as a married couple, and it was only fitting to visit this place once again to celebrate where their life has taken them.

We created new memories, we looked at their wedding album, we talked about film photography and digital.   As we turned the pages of the album I listened to stories of their wedding rehearsal, their friend who was the wedding photographer.  We lined up a shot with the house across the parkway.  This was Ann’s grandmas house where they went after church.  We recreated the celebratory dash they did outside after the ceremony.  Inside Ann’s wedding album was the ivy from her bouquet, a matchbook and napkin from the reception.  Christensen Jewelers in Shakopee recently crafted her a sparkling upgrade to her original wedding ring.

I am so thankful I had a chance to spend time with these two beautiful people and create more memories for them as they continue to walk the path of marriage.

If you’ve been married for 30 years or only 1, I’d love to listen to your wedding stories and create anniversary portraits for you.
