February is the shortest month.  Twenty-eight days.  In Minnesota, it’s the longest twenty-eight days of the year.  This is when cabin fever sets in and the snow feels like it will last forever.  When the temperature sits at zero degrees and we wonder why we still live in this state.  When we forget that green grass exists.

At the beginning of this month, I set out to find some color along the Minnesota River at Belle Plaine.  Here are the results.
