Beth & Adam’s Bryant Lake Beach Wedding in Eden Prairie.
I was beyond happy when my sister Beth chose me to photograph her wedding, because I love her sense of style and design. Our family had an extremely emotional day at this wedding. Beth and Adam postponed their wedding once due to a medical emergency, and it was a joy to see them finally be able to tie the knot at the beach on the shore of Bryant Lake. Beth is also the last of my 3 siblings to be married.
A beach wedding ceremony like this one comes with a few challenges. The biggest challenge is shooting into the sun, but the plus side of this is you can move around until you find just the right angle, because the beach is so open. The ceremony pictures were fantastic. I love how the sky was so blue on this day.
Their reception took place in the lakeside pavilion full of windows. Spectacular views of the lake and forest surrounded us. Beth and her friends did all of the decorations themselves, including making delicious truffles for favors! The cake and head table incorporated Adam’s love of disc golf into the design. All though we didn’t play a disc golf game on the day of the wedding, I recommend you try the course at Bryant Lake. It’s most notable feature is a place where you have to throw your disc off a cliff to reach the basket.
After capturing all the important events of the day, including the large thirteen person wedding party deciding it was a good idea to climb onto the playground for one final group photo, I put my camera down and joined the party.
Take a look at their photos and enjoy the bright colors of this late September wedding.
