Did You Know? Photographers Are Really Good Secret Keepers.
It snowed today, and I think we need some warm weather on this blog. These beautiful Lake Ann Chanhassen maternity photos are from summer. I saved these pictures for so long! Posting them too early might ruin the surprise of the baby. When I received Nicoelle’s email, I got excited and did a little happy dance in my office. One of the best parts of bring a photographer is being the first to know a special secret and to celebrate it like this.

We had so much fun at this shoot, playing with balloons, walking on the beach, exploring the woods around the lake. When you have a busy child that likes to be on the move and explore during photos, I’ve found that a place like this with wide open spaces where we can all walk around works well. Taking pictures at each spot and moving on to the next gives variety to the shoot, but also introduces your toddler to new things, to keep them interested during the shoot.
