Summer Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Wedding
As I put together this blog the adoration Maggie and Jake have for each other pulls at my heart. They share a love for each other and for life that leads them on incredible adventures to mountains, hot springs, and all over the globe. On their wedding day, family and friends shared in their adventures by traveling to Minnesota to see them say I do.
Creative Plans For Rain On Your Wedding Day
When you have your wedding at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, everything is in one place, and there’s room for spontaneous changes in plans. The rain was so intense the ceremony had to be indoors. I kept a close watch on the weather radar, so we could sneak out between the small storms that came through and get pictures among the flowers. The couple didn’t want to be completely drenched before their ceremony. Wedding photos in the rain are fun, but I also understand that walking down the aisle dripping wet is not the best choice for everyone who gets rain on their wedding day.
By the time the reception came around the rain stopped. Guests enjoyed cheesecake and a very fun time on the dance floor. The uplighting was amazing. The bouquet was tossed. Balloons dropped. Everyone danced long into the night.
What a sweet, romantic wedding. Maggie and Jake, I wish you many more adventures as this new journey of marriage begins for you. Thank you for making me a part of your wedding day.
