When I talk to a lot of parents, the quiet moments at home are what they cherish from the early years of parenting. As the years go by children grow up. Those moments when they were so little and sweet in your arms become even more special. Every yawn, every expression they make when they’re asleep. That feeling of peace you get when you look at them. It’s an awesome part of parenthood.
At home with your newborn
Parents do so many things to prepare for their baby too, especially your first. You paint the nursery, display all the stuffed animals and gift from grandparents. It’s another milestone in a couple’s relationship to go from the just the two of you to a family of 3. I think there’s a lot to love about the memories of preparing for your newborn, making your space transition from just the two of you into family space. Capturing that is another reason newborn photography at home is fun and personal.
The last time Kayla and Mike stepped in front of my camera was their wedding day. They just had their first baby. It was amazing to see the three of them together and know that they trusted me to capture another special time in their lives.
