Personalized Wedding Albums Are What You Have Left After Your Wedding.
I can explain to you the beautiful feeling of holding a wedding album, having all the memories and joy from getting married come rushing back to you. Flipping through the pages of your wedding album years later brings a new celebration of each moment and remembrance of the people who celebrated the start of your marriage together.
I can also explain to you how it feels to not have a wedding album because I know it personally. I wish that when I was planning my wedding (before I was a professional photographer) there was someone to explain to me why wedding albums are worth it.
Why Professional Personalized Wedding Albums Are Worth It
Your wedding is the day your marriage starts. To have wedding pictures that exist in an album outside of the digital world is a great gift to you. Having your wedding photographer design your album ensures that the task won’t be forgotten or put aside for the day when you finally “have time” to do it.
Also, a wedding album from me isn’t the same as what you can do yourself on a consumer website. My albums are made by a print lab that serves only professional photographers. They’re dedicated to high-quality craftsmanship, including true-to-life color printing and using the highest quality of materials.
Rubies and Rust Vintage Wedding Album
This is Kimberly and Benjamin’s personalized wedding album from their celebration at Rubies and Rust. They wanted it to remember their wedding, and to have something to pass on to their children and grandchildren.
It contains pictures picked out by Kimberly and me. Designing a wedding album is a collaboration. Having your wedding photographer design your album still allows you the freedom to choose what you put in it. We did a few rounds of edits on this album to make sure it contained the story of her wedding, as well as celebrated the people who attended it. I’m a perfectionist when it comes to albums because they are one of the most important parts of your wedding photography.
The style of the album, with its distressed cover and understated typography, matches the vintage feel of the Rubies and Rust wedding barn. The rich color and texture also match the modern decor of the couple’s home. The quote on the front of the album is from their ceremony song “Life is Better With You” by Michael Franti and Spearhead.
This album captured the emotions and intention of Kimberly and Benjamin’s wedding, and it’s a beautiful piece of art that I was very proud to deliver to them.
