Allison & Mathias’s Shakopee Engagement Photography
I met up with Allison and Mathias in Shakopee for their engagement shoot in November. We had really good timing. The weather basically went to heck soon after this. It was fun to get to know them. We walked around their wedding ceremony area near Huber Park and their reception space at Turtles. Their wedding is in May and I am so excited about it! Huber Park will be in full bloom with gorgeous greens. We discovered a mural behind Turtles, talked about places that will be good for photos on the wedding day. We spent time simply having fun.
I want engagement shoots to be fun. I feel like having portraits together is your chance to stop and take a breath in an otherwise stressful daily grind. We all need to slow down once in a while in order to get grounded. You can take a deep breath and look into the eyes of the person you love.
