Meeting Rhonda and her family in Shakopee was very fun. We did a little mini session for their Christmas card at Huber Park. I think it’s so cool that even though the kids are grown they make time for portraits together. It’s never too late to have family portraits, you just need to make your appointment and take time out to do it.
So many people tell me they are too busy for portraits. There’s not enough time, schedules don’t work, it’s too hard to plan, nothing to wear. There’s no need to make a huge production out of portraits. It’s okay if you don’t have time to do a super mega 50 pictures photo shoot!
Less can be more. Come as you are, and let me do the rest. If lunch time on a Saturday is what you have, go with it!
I love this shoot because it was simple and straight forward. We spent about 30 minutes for this mini session and accomplished our goal of having fun while taking a few beautiful family portraits. Here are a few of my favorites:
