A professional wedding album to pass on to the next generation.
This is Ginger and Travis’s wedding album, from their January wedding in Henderson, MN. Designing this gave me a first look at my printer’s pearlescent leather, and I love the look of it. It’s sophisticated and perfect for a winter wedding.
The wedding album cover.
The cover material of this album is soft and the texture is deep. This material is designed to age well and will become more textured over the years. The wedding album cover has a slight sheen in the sunlight which reminds me of a crisp, frosty winter morning. It’s a lovely alternative to a black or white album cover. This pearlescent quartz cover is timeless and elegant. It matches the aesthetic of this couple’s wedding well.
Ginger and Travis’s names and wedding date are stamped in the cover corner in silver foil. The album pages are thick and sturdy matt board that lay flat but won’t bend easily.
Important things to know about selecting wedding album pictures.
Because the pages of this professional wedding album are thick, the printer can only bind up to 50 pages into the album. Most of my couples have around 20-40 pages in their wedding album.
This album is meant to hold the highlights of your photography, not every single shot. It’s designed in a way that’s thoughtful and emotional. Paging through your album and looking at the high lights helps you remember the feelings you felt on your wedding day.
A lot of couples will also choose to put the formal family pictures into their album because these shots are important for them to preserve. The album pages will stand the test of time better than loose prints and are a good way to hold on to pictures of the people who support your marriage.
Inside the wedding album.
My album printer makes sure the pages in the album are expertly printed with balanced, true to life color. The moments in this album come to life with this expert printing technique and will be a gorgeous reminder of the wedding day for Ginger and Travis.
I designed the pages using their favorite photographs and some of mine too. The design is intentional, meant to tell their story, showing moments in the order they happened. Below is a peek at some of my favorite wedding album spreads from their design.
